CSO Online has details on the leak of EA account information on Pastebin,
including the names and passwords of Origin members, saying hundreds of accounts
were exposed. There are conflicting opinions about how this happened, as they
quote former Origin community manager Sam Houston suggesting this was a targeted
attack, while EA says: "At this point, we have no indication that this list was
obtained through an intrusion of our account databases." In
December EA also denied speculation on reddit that they suffered a security
breach. EA does say they are looking to protect the exposed accounts in "an
abundance of caution." Thanks

GamingOnLinux follows up on a reddit post and confirms that the number of
SteamOS titles on Steam actually went down recently. The speculation is that
they are removing this from titles that don't operate perfectly under SteamOS,
even if they work properly under more traditional Linux distributions, to avoid
confusing or disappointing customers after SteamOS leaves beta. They also
reassure Linux gamers that none of these games have been removed from anyone's
libraries, and that they can still be installed and played as before. Thanks
Ant.
Ceres is now available for Windows, OS X, and Linux
on Steam, offering the

ships. Real menaces or mere fantasies ? Who can now part the myth from the
ever-changing reality ?
In a world where humans, monsters and machine-gods fight for survival, something
will eventually have to give. You play the role of a young adventurer, who just
got his hands on his first spaceship, and is determined to make a name for
himself. A routine scouting mission turns out to be something much greater when
you encounter an A.I. called Ceres. Continue here to read the full story.
