A
tweet
from AGB offers an image from Xbox Magazine #128 (September 2015) revealing
that multiplayer support is being cut from
Rise of the Tomb Raider
(thanks
Cinema Blend). The scan from the article offers the following quote noting
this will not be part of Lara Croft's next adventure, though it does not explain
why: "With multiplayer cut from the experience, Crystal Dynamics needed to make
this core campaign as entertaining as possible."
A Kickstarter update from Larian Studios informs us that
Divinity: Original Sin 2 has passed another stretch goal, and a third undead
race will be included in the upcoming RPG sequel. This was triggered as the game
reached $1.2 million in funding, and they list two more goals at this time,
another skill tree at $1.35M and The Hall of Echoes at $1.5M, and both seem to
be in reach, as the crowdfunding campaign still has 23 days remaining.
This trailer shows
off the new undead unlock, and here's the announcement:
It's celebration
time, so grab a glass of hemlock tea and hie yourself to the nearest graveyard.
You smashed through the next stretch goal, and now it's official: the Undead
will be featured as a playable race in D:OS2.
In this video, we learn a bit more about what's in store for the Undead in
Rivellon from our lead writer Jan and concept artist Tania, and Swen gives us
another peak into Larian's adventures at PAX.

I've been doing a pretty good job of taking it easy on the sore finger I
mentioned the other day, and I think it's getting a little better. It's even
giving me a use for the jar of Tiger Balm analgesic ointment that's sat mostly
unused since I retired from playing softball. The bad news is, that applying
gunk like that to your finger means having to be extra careful when touching
things such as food, your eyes, and your junk, so I have to be on constant guard
against punking myself.
