Blizzard's Dustin Browder has commented again on the topic of hero bans in
Heroes of the Storm, which would allow teams to select heroes to be
ineligible for Team League matches, a feature he
recently indicated
they were planning on adding to the MOBA. Responding to the point that allowing
each team to ban two heroes could leave teams without proper options for the
undermanned support class,
a tweet
from Browder acknowledges that hero bans won't be viable until that class is
bolstered: "@Panzerdan412 Fair point. Won't go in until we add a few more
supports." Thanks

Steam News announces the
release of
SUPER DISTRO,
a 2D platformer that's carrying a 15% launch discount. This is only for Windows
for now, though the headline of
this announcement references OS X and Linux versions, though they are not
mentioned in the article itself., which discusses future support, saying bug
fixes will come next week along with a free map. Here's word on the game:
"SUPER DISTRO" is a hard-as-nails (Seriously, Who comes up with these
idioms?) 2D platformer in the style of retro games such as Megaman, Super Mario
Bros 2: The Lost Levels and other such rage-inducing classics. Taking "Difficult
gameplay" to a whole new level - SUPER DISTRO is not for the faint-of-heart. You
will die again and again. The weak need not apply - Only those who are
determined to overcome impossible odds will find victory here and those are the
rules of the land in SUPER DISTRO.
We've got some pleasant weather in these parts, and I have a steak to sacrifice
to the fire gods in Manstovia, so it's shaping up to be a pretty awesome
Saturday here in the BlueTower. Not sure how it could be better where you are,
but I hope things are going as well for you.
