Perhaps spurred by an
unconfirmed report that
fixes for the Windows edition of
Batman: Arkham Knight would not come
until fall, a
Steam Community Group Announcement from Warner Bros. Interactive
Entertainment says they expect to release a patch next month to address the
issues that caused them
to
cease selling the PC version of the superhero sequel (thanks
PC Invasion). They call this an "interim patch" so the indications that the
game won't be sold again until autumn may still turn out to be accurate. Here's
the latest:
As an update, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment,
Rocksteady and our partners are targeting an interim patch update for existing
players to be released in August. This update will address many of the issues we
listed in our
June 27 update. We will provide additional details as we finalize that
interim patch over the coming weeks.
We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback.
We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are
driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we possibly can.
The
Fallout 4 website is now live,
offering an official home of Bethesda Softworks' upcoming return to the
Wasteland. According to the
Bethesda Blog: "For the first time since unveiling the game, we’re excited
to announce the newly-expanded
Fallout4.com.
Check out all the latest videos, screenshots, concept art, and more from Fallout
4, plus content on Fallout Shelter and other games in the series beginning with
the original Fallout."
A
reddit thread reporting that Newegg is offering a free copy of
Metal Gear
Solid V: The Phantom Pain with NVIDIA GPUs as a replacement for the
problematic Arkham Knight seems to be accurate, if premature, as
a post purportedly from Newegg support says this is coming soon. Word is:
"Hi everyone! We had a little slip up and posted this deal ahead of schedule. It
is not currently available, but stay tuned, it will be soon! Newegg Support
-Tori." Presumably this will be an NVIDIA bundle, not specific to the e-tailer.
Thanks
DSOGaming.
No Time To Explain Remastered is now available
on Steam for Windows,
Linux, and OS X, offering a remake of tinyBuild's debut release.
This news post has a list of hotfixes that are part of the launch and also
points the way to a
launch
trailer that introduces the game's time-travelling premise and shows a bit
of its retro platformer gameplay. Here's a bit:
Chase your future self
through time and alternate realities while fighting giant monsters, collecting
hats, and eating cake! No Time To Explain is a game about Time Paradoxes,
Jetpack Guns and Ribs In People's Eyes. It's a comedy platformer featuring great
music, voice acting and gameplay that becomes more ridiculous as you go.

Got a rack of ribs to smoke, but a rainy forecast puts that in doubt... Tomorrow
is supposed to be clear, but I had other plans, and it's supposed to be about a
million degrees anyway, so I may try to set up a patio umbrella over the smoker
and brave the elements today and just hope we don't get the high winds that
thunderstorms often bring. Heavy is the head that wears the crown in Manstovia.
