EA's Battlelog now promises the spring update patch for
Battlefield 4
will be released on Tuesday for all platforms, offering a specific schedule for
when to expect the hour of multiplayer downtime the update will entail (thanks
PC Gamer). They
previously
outlined the new content this will add to the military shooter sequel, and
the announcement offers this summary:
Hot (cold?) on the heels of the
Winter Update, we are back once again with a huge Battlefield 4 update. We are
definitely not done with providing more awesome content. As previously
mentioned, there are 5 new weapons incoming as well as a full weapons balance
pass and the return of the party mode “Gun Master”, and what would an update be
without some netcode improvements? There is of course a lot more that you will
have the chance to read about once we publish the patch notes, so stay tuned for
that.

Met a guy today with the neatest little hybrid dog. It was half Beagle and half
Rhodesian Ridgeback, which is a hard mating to imagine, based on the dimensions
of the breeds in question. The outcome basically looks like a Beagle, except
quite lean, and with the full-on ridge on her back. The neat thing is that she
doesn't bark, as incessant yapping is one thing that tends to detract from how
adorable Beagles are. Apparently these are good working dogs, too, as he says
they were bred out west to deter coyotes, so they are tough little guys. I don't
know how much of an actual thing they are, though, as Googling does not bring up
much about the mix.
