Sledgehammer games announces the addition of a new game mode called
One
Shot to
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which focuses on sniper skills
in the military shooter sequel (thanks
IGN). This is already live, and they are celebrating by handing out double
experience points all weekend:
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and we’re
proud to announce our new team based game mode called “One Shot” – available
right now. We’re also turning on Double XP this weekend (Friday, 12/26 9AM PST
through Monday, 12/29 9AM PST) while playing in this new game mode. One Shot is
a brand new snipers-only game mode with decreased health and highly specific
classes. Each of the five classes have been custom designed by our development
team and OpTic NaDeSHoT, to test the true sniper skill of Advanced Warfare in
this new custom mode. Each class features the MORS, a bolt-action railgun
sniper, along with a variety of perks, Scorestreaks, and Exo abilities.
There are no secondary weapons, so make sure your shots count. Party up with up
to five of your best snipers buddies to take on this new game mode and be sure
to share your best moments in the One Shot playlist with our official studio
channels on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Instagram. We’ll pick our favorites
and give you a shout out!
The smurf who gave me his cold calmly reassured me it was only a three-day
virus, and he turned out to me pretty right, as yesterday was day three for me,
and I feel a lot better today. He didn't warn me that it would go out with a
bang, as it ended up knocking me out pretty early last night, but he's all of
12, so he probably shrugged it off a lot better than I did. Anyway, I hate being
sick (who doesn't?), so I'm very glad to believe I am mostly over this.
