Ubisoft announces that
Patch #2 for the PC edition of Assassin's Creed Unity is now available,
warning that though this fixes many bugs, this does not address performance
issues, and that "most framerate issues that have been reported since the
release of the game" remain. On a related note, a
new post to the Assassin's Creed forums follows up on
launch woes for
Assassin's Creed Unity. Ubisoft outlines all identified issues with the
stealth/action sequel, what's being done to fix them, and what players can do in
the meantime to work around the problems they encounter. There is a list of bugs

The
Team Fortress blog
announces details on a new upgrade to the
Team Fortress 2 workshop,
which should make it easier to find the right hat for you in the teamplay
shooter. Here's word:
The TF2 Workshop now has a voting queue! The
upgraded queue should make it a lot easier for you to discover new and
interesting items to vote on, and will help us get a broader sense of which
items you most want to see in-game.
The TF2 Workshop home page has also gotten a
redesign. It should
now be much easier to browse through new items created by authors you follow,
see what your friends are marking as favorites, and read about recent Workshop
news from the TF2 team. Workshop authors: Be sure to mark your sets as "sets" in
the "edit collection" page, since this will change how your items are now
showcased!
One last reminder: Don't forget to vote on Tomb Raider items, now available in a
handy new landing page thanks to the redesign.
Have a lot of outdoor work to do today, and it's pretty darned cold for that,
but hopefully activity will help me stay warm. A lot of this will involve leaf
clearing, so it is good to have waited long enough for most of them to be off
the trees, so considering the snow has held off up until now, I'm just going to
call this perfect timing.
