This forum post has links to where to turn for support for problems with the
Windows edition of Assassin's Creed Unity.
Also, a post on the
Assassin's Creed Unity Forums from Ubisoft addresses AMD owners playing the
just-released stealth/assassination sequel (thanks
IGN), explaining what's being done about some of the reported
issues on their systems: We are aware that the graphics performance of Assassin’s
Creed Unity on PC may be adversely affected by certain AMD CPU and GPU
configurations. This should not affect the vast majority of PC players, but rest
assured that AMD and Ubisoft are continuing to work together closely to resolve
the issue, and will provide more information as soon as it is available.

Daedalic Entertainment announces today is Randal's Wednesday with the release of
Randal's Monday for Windows and OS X. The
official website has details on
where to get this "point & geek" adventure from Nexus Game Studios, and
the official trailer
offers a look at what to expect. Here's a bit: Randal’s Monday features
cynical humor, geek culture references and classic point & click adventure
gameplay at its best: being stuck in a space-time-odyssey that makes main
character Randal having to go through the worst day of each week– a Monday –
over and over, players can experience an epic story about friendship in seven
huge chapters and more than 20 hours of gameplay time.
The story of Randal’s Monday is way more than an homage to movie classics such
as “Groundhog Day” or “Clerks” that the developers consider being both the best
entertainment and also friendship stories. “It’s one of the best scripts I read
in years”, states “Clerks” legend Jeff Anderson. He stars not only as voice
actor for the game’s cynical main character, Randal, but also consulted the
developers, Nexus Game Studios, by working with them on the game’s
script. Continue here to read the full story.

I've been getting around pretty well on my twice-sprained ankle thanks to some
help from a neoprene brace. The itch of healing is starting to make me nuts
because it's below the skin, but it also hasn't healed up enough to put it
through much without a brace, and I can't really say when I'll get past this
point, as the last time I had a high ankle sprain it took ages to recover, and I
was much younger at the time. Actually, if I'm smart, I'll continue to wear the
brace for a while after it's no longer a necessity, since it helps remind me to
be careful on it. Besides, I think the orthopedic look is in this year.
