Massively notes a couple of indications from Trion Worlds that they are once
again experiencing denial of service attacks in
RIFT, after similar reports
about a month ago. There's word in
a forum thread about lag, saying: "Adding on top of the oddities that people
are reporting, we've also been under DDOS attacks and our network team has been
working to minimize the impacts of these." There's a bit more
on Twitter:

our servers are experiencing a DDoS at the moment. We're working to restore
network stability as quickly as possible.
CapCom Unity now offers a
new trailer
featuring Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, in which the producer of the upcoming
Resident
Evil REmake discusses how they are enhancing the original installment in the
Resident Evil survival/horror series. His narration is in Japanese, but the clip
includes a translated voiceover. The clip includes a humorous disclaimer: "All
footage represents a game still in development. Well, except the footage from
the 2002 game - that's definitely all wrapped up :P"

Just as that banged up shoulder I recently complained about started to clear up,
I managed to sprain an ankle, so now I'm hobbling around. I had a couple of high
ankle sprains back in my weekend warrior days that were so severe that this
ankle usually won't even swell anymore if I roll it because everything in there
is already all stretched out, but I got it really good this time. Still, this is
infinitely less of a problem than if I pulled a similar stunt on a pristine
ankle, so, um... yay?
