MS Working on Xbox Streaming to Browsers?

Microsoft is working on providing the ability to play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games on PCs by streaming them through your browser, according to an unconfirmed report on Neowin. They say: "And don’t think this is some watered-down experience; one source told us that he thought the experience was right around 60FPS, while another stated that this is going to be the company’s next killer gaming feature." They don't go into detail on their sources but they say "it is looking increasingly likely that this feature will be released at some point in the not-too-distant future." They also add this is not limited to MS Explorer, as it works in Chrome as well. Thanks GamesIndustry.biz.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut Diary

The Kickstarter campaign for Shadowrun Returns has the fourth and final developer diary for Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut, paving the way for its release next week. The diary goes into detail about the various aspects of the game that were reworked and improved for the Director's Cut, which will be free to owners of Shadowrun Returns. Here's how Game Director and Art Director Mike McCain concludes the diary: "Anyway, thanks for reading! I can’t wait until next week - taking the existing campaign and getting the chance to add to it and make it better has been a rewarding experience, and it’s not something that developers always get the opportunity to do. We’re excited to put the final product in your hands and in the hands of many new players as well."

Magicka 2 Karaoke Trailer and Contest

A new Magicka 2 "Karaoke Singalong" trailer offers an unusual look at the upcoming unusual sequel to Arrowhead's action game. They are holding a music contest for fans to tackle this challenge themselves, and details can be found on the Geocities-inspired Magicka 2 Sing-along page. The clip also includes some gameplay, as they note: "Paradox Interactive today released a new trailer for Magicka 2, the dynamic spellcasting co-op action game that hits all the right notes. The new trailer shows a new slice of Magicka 2’s gameplay to the public, and also debuts the hidden singing talents of Magicka 2’s robe-clad musical, magical miscreants in the first-ever (and very probably only-ever) Magicka 2 Karaoke Video." Out of the Blue

There's not much summer left, so I want to grill today, but Mother Nature does not want me to. So I'm threatening to grill, and she is backing up her argument by threatening rain. I feel like I'm going to lose no matter how I choose.

Here's a week two NFL discussion thread which can cover tomorrow and Monday's games, as well as the Thursday night game, where true to form I demonstrated what a clever idiot I am (or maybe it was stupid genius... I can't decide).
