Retro Army now offers
Super Trench Attack!
on Steam, calling their
debut title "a goofball comedy twitch-shooter based in a World War setting."
This trailer shows off
the game and its mix of first-person rail shooting and isometric action, and
here's word: "The Dastardly Black Army has invaded your homeland! The only thing
between them and victory stands one man. A new recruit with a penchant for naked
lady magazines and an eye for headshots. Enter the crazy world of Super Trench
Attack. "
BANDAI NAMCO BANDAI (etc.) announces they are now accepting registration from
those interested in beta testing of
Rise of Incarnates, their upcoming
mythology-themed, fee-to-play fighting game, saying testing should run from
August 8th-17th. You can
sign up here, and
here's the deal: "Players participating in the Rise of Incarnates Closed Beta
will be able to play as Mephistopheles, Lilith, Grim Reaper, and Ares. Brynhildr
will be added to the character roster as well on August 13th. Battles will take
place in the New York City and Paris levels; both of which feature level designs
that allow players to utilize the environment to their advantage. The Closed
Beta will have a selection of in-game purchasable options available; this will
allow players to try out a selection of in-game character customization
options."

trailer introduces the wraith character from
Middle-earth: Shadow of
Mordor, Monolith's just
counter-delayed
action/RPG based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. They say: "The new trailer
reveals many new story details for the game, including the identity of the
mysterious Wraith bound to protagonist Talion, as well as his connection to the
Rings of Power and the Dark Lord, Sauron. As Talion and the Wraith follow a
promising trail, they find a series of ancient artifacts that trigger painful
memories of the Wraith’s history and his connection to the Rings of Power. The
connection unites the two heroes to one common goal against Sauron, but also
questions their path to redemption."
