The
Haggard Games website now offers downloads of a free playable demo for
Death to Spies III, their Smershy espionage sequel. The demo is mirrored on
Strategy Informer, where they describe it thusly: "Overall it's a social
stealth with open levels, where you can change clothes, use various weapons,
hide and sneak. It's like Hitman+Splinter Cell+Commandos." Here is the
description of the full game:

The
GeForce website now offers new version 337.88 WHQL-certified GeForce
reference drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards. This is the driver set they
recommend for playing
Watch Dogs, and they also tout performance
enhancements for other games as well. On a related note, NVIDIA also offers
a Watch Dogs graphics, performance, and tweaking guide for NVIDIA
accelerators. Here's word on the new drivers:
In addition to day-of-launch
Watch Dogs enhancements, 337.88 WHQL also includes a wealth of upgrades and
optimizations that boost system performance and improve existing features.
Namely, system-wide DirectX 11 and SLI performance optimizations of up to 75%,
new technology that reduces game load times, new and updated SLI profiles, and
3D Vision enhancements that optimize DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 3D titles.
The unofficial start of summer was certainly authentic: I did some grilling
yesterday and practically cooked myself in the heat along with the food. The
silly thing is that I could have remembered to use this head cooking chamois
thing I recently picked up for such occasions, but it slipped my sun-baked mind.
I'll be sure to remember it next time. And as noted previously, today is
Memorial Day here in the U.S., which has a solemn intent of honoring fallen
soldiers, so here's a salute to all who have made such sacrifices, and sincere
hopes for a future with fewer dead soldiers to honor.
