Polygon - Playing with privilege: the invisible benefits of gaming while male.
One particularly astounding theme I’ve noticed running through online discussions surrounding these incidents has been a consistent denial that there is any real problem with the way women are treated in gaming. Despite the abundance of evidence, I’ve seen many of my fellow male gamers, in comment thread after comment thread, dismiss the issue as "no big deal" and insist that everyone is essentially treated the same.

Gamer Horizon - I hate Hearthstone and I can't stop playing it.

Out of the Blue

Man is it hard to be a Knicks fan... I admit that if I ostensibly owned a sports team, I would probably meddle in personnel decisions, but at a certain point I would have to back off if that turned out badly. But the Knicks' James Dolan can't help himself in spite of perpetually being part of the problem rather than the solution (they're like the Cowboys of basketball). For the record, the Knicks have won a single playoff series in the past 14 years, and their last championship is now over 40 years ago... if I were Dolan, I'd just let Phil Jackson do the job he was hired to do.
