Risen 3 Images Leaked?

Risen 3 is apparently covered in a new issue of German magazine PC Games, as DSOGaming has some images of Piranha Bytes' action/RPG they explain were leaked. They also say the article indicates the unannounced game's title will be Risen 3: Titan Lords, and that it will be an open-world game in a medieval setting.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall Beta Keys

The Kickstarter page for Shadowrun Returns has word that beta keys for Shadowrun: Dragonfall are heading out to those who bought the Shadowrun Returns Collector's Edition through the Harebrained Schemes website. Here's word, which includes an update on the DRM-free version :

We are excited to let you know that we have begun emailing Shadowrun: Dragonfall keys to all Backers and anyone who ordered the Shadowrun Returns Collector’s Edition from the HBS website. You can add the game to your Library with your key when you receive it, but note that it will not pre-load. You can download the game when it unlocks on Thursday, February 27 at 10am PST.

It will take a few days to get all the emails out, so watch your inbox and be sure to check your spam folder. If you don’t receive it by the end of the day on Monday, please contact us at info@hbs-studios.com . We thank you for your patience in advance!

Please note that if you previously requested a GOG.com key for Shadowrun Returns, we will begin sending Dragonfall GOG keys early next week. If you have not requested a GOG or Humble Store key yet and would like one, no problem! Just shoot us an email and we’ll get that to you as soon as we can.

Update on the DRM-free Version of the Game
We've been so impressed with the level of service that our partners at GOG.com and Humble Store have been able to provide that we have decided to let them handle all future DRM-free updates. This will allow us to stay focused on Shadowrun. If you haven’t requested DRM-free keys yet, and would like one, please send us your Kickstarter email address along with which partner you prefer so you can continue to have access to those updates.

Garry's Mod & Rust Have Each Earned > $30M

Garry's Mod author and not-80s electro-pop artist Garry Newman tweets that his Source-engine sandbox has just passed an impressive income threshold: "Garry's Mod has just broke $30,000,000 !" Continuing the frankness, he follows with another tweet indicating Rust has actually now earned even more, saying: "And if my calculations are correct - we have now officially made more money from Rust than Garry's Mod. 0.34% more!" This is in part because they make more from Rust than GMod, as he explains "in Rust we get 70%" as opposed to Garry's Mod, which pays less: "in GMod we get 50% or $2.50 if it's part of a package." Thanks Destructoid.

Editorial on Kickstarter Communication

Tim Schafer's comments about the backlash to the news that Broken Age was being broken into two parts includes his feeling that this was because non-backers of the project were not as well-informed as their backers. "That was really a lesson for us, learning that even though our backers are really well informed, the rest of the world hadn't really heard of us since the Kickstarter happened," Schafer said. "It's weird because the Kickstarter experience had been wading in a sea of love from the fans. Because you don't just get money. You get all this positive support from the backers who believe in what you're doing. They hang around and cheer you on. And it was like being dumped from that into this cold pool of Internet Twitter hate. And that was crazy. It was like, 'Oh yeah, right! There's a bunch of people who hate the idea of what we're doing and are waiting to pounce on us if we make a single mistake'." It seems the case can be made that Double Fine actually made at least 31 mistakes, as that's how many updates on their Kickstarter page were "for backers only," which is every single update posted there once they hit their initial funding goal almost two years ago. Here's the history of private communication for this project:
