A
new trailer from
Ultra Street Fighter IV shows off some of the enhancements coming in the
upcoming re-re-release of Street Fighter IV. The clip introduces new systems,
including the Red Focus Attack, the Ultra Combo Double, and Online
Training. The video also outlines the upgrade paths to the new edition for
owners of its predecessors. There's also
an interview about the game on Polygon talking with Peter Rosas, Capcom's
community specialist and battle director, who talks about how they are working
to create better character balance based on carefully assessing the feedback
from their players. "So if you make the right reads and if you use the toolset
properly, then you can play this as a dynamic back and forth game that is
really, really fun," Rosas said. "And that's what we're trying to do for most
characters. All the characters have the tools to fight each other equally."
Finally, we also have a
new batch of USF4
screenshots.

The snow took a midday break yesterday, but with so much more of it still in the
forecast I decided to wait until this morning when it was done. Things packed
down a bit along the way, so it was only about four inches deep, but very heavy.
I'm not sure if it would have been easier to do it twice when things were
lighter, or once as I did it, but it's all done and my back and heart both still
seem to be operating properly so I'm just going to call it a win. I hope
everyone else in the path of the storm had it so easy.
