devastating fleet battle or recharge at an inexplicable fountain of antimatter
tearing apart the fabric of space-time. Each anomaly’s all-new gameplay effect
adds variety and strategic opportunities to every map.
In addition, Stellar Phenomena lets players seize the moment with 11 optional

The
Kickstarter for Bugbear's Next Car Game now offers the giveaway of a
playable racing game prototype they created over 10 years ago as part of the
process that led up to the creation of Flat Out. They explain: "The prototype is
a little rough around the edges, but it served as an initial actualization of
our vision for a reckless racing game, and despite the humble beginnings, it
later grew into a game franchise loved by millions of fans. The foundation for
our proprietary physics engine was laid down in the prototype, and even today,
the physics engine we use is based on the very same core. Actually, even the
code wizard who developed it over ten years ago is working on our amazing Next
Car Game!"

our last update’s notes on this re-release, we got a ton of feedback based on
what we showed you about our Wasteland 1 tweaks. We spent some time implementing
a number of the changes our community suggested; a toggle to turn smoothing off,
implementing swappable portraits, tweaking portrait art options, in-game manual
text on abilities, stats and skills and ensuring it works on Mac and
Linux.
Kill The Bad Guy is an upcoming project from French
developer Exkee. The game's somewhat
self-explanatory title is helpful, as they aren't going crazy
with details about the game just yet. Here's the full description: "Join a
secret and mysterious society whose members have sworn to get rid of war
criminals, former mafia members, and other criminals, going incognito among us.
Hiding behind the appearance of a simple ‘man in the street’, the Bad Guys feel
untouchable. They don’t expect you to track them and make evil plans. 'Kill The
Bad Guy' will stress and test your mental skills through a puzzle game where
physics plays an important role." They augment this
with a teaser trailer
that would demonstrate the best graphics ever were it not live-action. The clip suggests this
will be something like Hitman meets Munich. Continue here to read the full story.

The
Australian Classification Review Board announces the ratings of a dozen
games are being reevaluated at the request of the South Australian Attorney
General. The 12 games all initially received MA15+ ratings, which were the most
mature rating offered at the times of their releases, and the implication is
that they are now considering raising the ratings on some or all of them to the
new R18+ rating, which would further restrict their sales (thanks
GameSpot). Here are the games in question:
- Alien Rage
- Borderlands 2 Expansion Packs
- Company of Heroes 2
- Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut
- Deadpool
- Fuse
- Gears of War: Judgment
- God Mode
- Killer is Dead
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
- The Walking Dead
- The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

trailers showing off the settings of Deadfall Adventures, The Farm 51's
upcoming action/adventure game. The game features three main regions, the
Arctic, Mayan ruins in the jungles of Guatemala, and Egypt, which is the subject
of the first clip. Word is: "The Sahara trailer gives players a glimpse of the
North African region in the game. Here players will experience the intensity of
the not-so-natural enemies in the stormy desert on a journey across the globe.
It is just one of the many beautifully illustrated locations that players will
explore for treasure, assuming the role of the action adventurer James Lee
Quatermain." Continue here to read the full story.
