This weekend is apparently a double XP weekend for
Battlefield 3 on all
platforms in advance of next week's release of
Battlefield 4. There is no
news feed on
Origin,
The Battlefield Blog is too caught
up in the new game to address this, and even the
Battlefield 3 website is
completely given over to BF4, but they are keeping the face on fan site
BF3Blog, where they say this will not be the end of BF3, as DICE plans
another double XP weekend shortly after Battlefield 4 launches.
The
World of Warcraft
website offers a "Connected Realms Update" with the status of Blizzard's
efforts at addressing low-population realms in their MMORPG. They provide a list
of newly connected realms and outline plans for two further batches of
connections to be processed on Monday. Word is: "Plans for these connections may
change at any time, but we’ll provide additional updates on specific dates for
future connections here as we can. Please note that as a part of the connection
process realm times may change to match each other."
Many of you have expressed ongoing concern, so here's a quick update on Hudson
the wonder dog, who is doing much better the past few days. Following her
procedure and medication her rough breathing has cleared up, her energy has
improved, and her appetite is back to normal. The bad news about that last point
is that is her normal appetite is pretty moderate, so I'm not having much
success getting her to eat enough to restore her lost weight. But we can keep
working on that, and otherwise she's doing great at the moment. Again, thanks
for all the good juju. :)
