Takedown: Red Sabre is now available
on Steam,
including in four-packs which carry a discount. Here's word on the game's
tactical first-person shooter action:
Takedown: Red Sabre is realistic,
closed-quarters, squad-based tactical FPS. A thinking man’s shooter. The player
that takes things slow and plans their tactics carefully will overcome the
player who runs in with guns blazing. Close-quarters battle brings the fight
inside, as you see SWAT teams or SOF units taking down small numbers of
dangerous adversaries. Non-linear environments allow for multiple routes and
tactics and add replayability.
My parts arrived and I had an uneventful build of my new machine, which is just
how you want it. My biggest problem was reading the activation key for Windows
and waiting the couple of hours it took for Windows to update itself. The new
machine speedy, the SSD is remarkable, and for the record, the
glitches I was experiencing all cleared up, so I was correct that I did not need
to RMA my video card. I was going to take a bit longer to move my mail and other
stuff from the other PC, but it was painless, and that's all done now too.
