The
Just Cause 2 Multiplayer website has
word that another public beta test is underway for this modification that adds
multiplayer mayhem to the existing mayhem in
Just Cause 2, Avalanche
Studios' open-world action game. They have patch notes on the most recent
version 0.0.13 patch and instructions on how to participate in the testing,
which runs through Monday. Thanks
Blend Games.
The
Star
Wars: The Old Republic website has word that a new version 2.3 game
update is now available on the Play Test Server for the Star Wars MMORPG, though
word is you will already need a high-level character copied over to participate:
"Game Update 2.3 is now live on our Public Test Server! For those of you that
already have high level, copied characters on our Public Test Server, we
encourage you to explore the CZ-198 moon and two new Czerka Flashpoints. Get on,
check everything out, and give us your feedback by posting on the
Public Test
Server forum. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer the ability to copy
characters for this test nor will there be any rewards offered for testing. We
apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause."
Steam News announces
early access is now available for
Edge of Space,
offering the chance to get a prerelease copy of the platformer and influence its
development. Here's word:
Players suit up as an Operative of the Ark
Corporation (ArkCo), deployed into the deepest, darkest, and most dangerous part
of the universe. Fight against an array of creative horrors including
cybernetically-enhanced laser space sharks or vicious genetically-evolved polar
bears - and those are not even the strangest monstrosities to encounter!
You must terraform the entire world, craft armor, weapons, kits, and vehicles to
help you explore and conquer. You start with only a laser pick and the gear from
your pod, and immediately get working as every ore you mine is valuable. At the
absolute edge of space you must adapt or die! Good luck ArkCo Operative!
We're still struggling to clear the backyard of some overgrowth and a big pile
of tree debris I created while pruning and trimming. We're not the biggest
gardeners to start with, and the weather alternating between rain and sweltering
heat is not helping move things along. I think I've previously mentioned my
fascination with a scene in the Anthony Hopkins movie The World's Fastest Indian
where he clears his overgrown lawn with fire. I'm pretty sure if I thought I
could safely and legally get away with it, I would be out there with a torch
right now.
