GameInformer has word that
Joe Danger and
Joe Danger 2: The Movie
are coming to
Steam later this year, confirming indications from
a few years ago that the motorcycle series would
race onto PCs. "For the PC version of JD, we’ve had a lot of fun," says Hello
Games' founder Sean Murray. "We’ve added a bunch of new content for both games –
some new levels for a start. There’s lots of graphics settings, as well as
controller, mouse and keyboard support. Full Steam Big Picture Mode (I was just
playing 1080 with 16xAA on my TV – looks soooo nice). We’ve added ghost
recording to both Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2 and integrated it with Steam, so
you can compete with people right in the game."
The
Battlefield Twitter feed announces a milestone: "THIS JUST IN: Battlefield 3
has been played by our community for a total of 1 BILLION hours! You keep
amazing us. #BF3" If
answers.com is correct, this is the equivalent of 114,079.7189 years. Put
that in your flux capacitor and smoke it! Thanks

The
Steam Forums have complaints from owners of
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
because the just-released shooter sequel does not allow them to tweak the game's
field of view (thanks
DSOGaming). Word from the team is a fix is on the way:
Guys, please
don't disclose password and save this game from cheaters. We won't be able to
keep leaderboards tidy when just anybody is able to unlock the game. Our patch
allowing tidy tweak of the FOV is right on the way!"
I mentioned hot weather didn't I? I guess that doesn't make it my fault it's
cold and rainy out there, but I still feel like I should've kept my mouth shut.
R.I.P.:
Debian Project mourns the loss
of Ray Dassen. Thanks
