The
Starbound website
is now accepting preorders for
Starbound, saying this will help fund the
completion of development of Chucklefish's upcoming indie adventure game (thanks
NKD) This game from one of (the last two words were added for clarification) the folks behind
Terraria
was announced for release last summer, saying
at the time they were "willing to take the extra time to get things JUST right,"
which has obviously come into play, but they their preorder program will
accelerate the process:
Preordering the game will go directly towards
funding development and get the game to you even faster.
The Starbound beta will be coming this year and preordering the game today will
make sure you’re one of the first to get access when it’s available.
You also get 2 soundtracks, the Starbound Soundtrack and an Experimental
Soundtrack. For a total of 66 tracks.
Petroglyph sends word that
Battle for Graxia is tentatively scheduled to
end open beta testing and officially launch on April 24th, leaving open the
possibility this will be delayed by a week. The
Battle for Graxia Beta Forums have word on launch plans for the upcoming
MOBA, including word on new content being added for the launch:
We are
hoping to implement the new content at or right before the official launch in
the next few weeks. The launch will be accompanied with a tournament
announcement as well! Until then, we hope to reveal more about these features so
you can voice your initial feedback early on. All of your feedback up to this
point has been greatly appreciated and highly valuable in moving the game
forward. We thank you!

Hey, look at that! Thanks to Agent.X7 for pointing out
an article from late last year saying that Starz is indeed considering a
Spartacus spinoff focused on Julius Caesar. Here's hoping that comes together.
