and it is the subject of a Steam Greenlight campaign
. Here's the description:
Now you can replay five episodes from Rome's tumultuous history of Civil Wars. "Alea Jacta Est" is now available for all armchair commanders who believe that they know how Pompey could have saved the Republic or how the provincial upstart Vespasian could have been kept from the imperial purple.
Alea Jacta Est is the latest historical wargame from French wargame developer AGEOD, the makers of the critically acclaimed "Birth of America" and popular "American Civil War". Review codes are available for any interested critic who wants to try their hand at a classic turn-based game with five challenging scenarios ranging from the decline of Rome's republic to the squabbling of generals in the early Empire.
The Colour Bind Website
announces this physics game based on colored (or coloured, if you prefer) gravity, is now available on Steam
, and on sale for 20% off for the first week of release. Here's a description of what to expect: "Imagine a world where Newton's Laws of Gravity are connected to Picasso's Laws of Colour. In Finn Morgan's devilish spin on the traditional physics-platform genre, the colour of objects is tied to the push and pull of gravity. You must manipluate switches and break through obstacles in ways that will make you question whether what goes up must, indeed, come down." A Colour Bind Competition
is also underway, promising "actual trophies" for the winners. Finally, here's the launch trailer

offers a new September 2012 update for Telepath Tactics
, keeping us up with development of this upcoming multiplayer game based on Telepath RPG. The post outlines a couple of setbacks and an increased focus on enhancing the game's single-player component which have resulted in a probable change to the game's planned release date, as word is: "I mention all of this to presage the following: it is becoming obvious to me that a Winter 2012 release is most likely not going to happen. If I had decided to scrap the requirement for smooth, detailed character animations and kept the game’s scope narrowly focused on multiplayer, it might have been possible, but I want something grand. The price of grandiosity, it seems, is waiting." We're told the game is probably going to be released at some point in 2013.

apparently didn't get the memo, as their video
clocks in at a modest nine-and-a-half minutes, though of course you always have the option to loop it and watch for three hours.

that Mark of the Ninja
is coming to Steam

Had a fine old time in our craft fair outing: And we've gotten to the point where the salsa guy recognizes us. He also had a new variety that's pretty awesome: A ghost pepper salsa, which is very tasty, but not as hot as you'd imagine from the name, and not nearly as spicy as the "stupid hot" variety he sells (and yes, I got my sticker).
