The
Indie Royale Website now offers sales of their Back to School Bundle of indie games to, um, help you with your studies (yeah, that's it!). The bundle includes
Sword & Soldiers (with
Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC),
Lunar Flight,
Bunny Must Die,
Sequence,
Flying Red Barrel,
Qlione, and
Cute Things Dying Violently. As always, you can buy as early as possible for the lowest price, or pay more than the minimum and lower the price for those who purchase after you, and there is also a bonus chiptune album for those who pay the equivalent of USD $8.00.
An
IGN Live Commentary trailer and a
Giant Bomb Quick Look trailer each offer looks at gameplay in
Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software's upcoming role-playing shooter sequel. The "quick look" runs 50 minutes, so is only quick compared with the IGN trailer, which runs a full 30 seconds longer than a full viewing of Citizen Kane. With almost three hours of combined footage, it seems safe to presume these trailers have some spoilers for the game, which is due for release this week. Thanks nin.
We attended the college football game at West Point yesterday with some friends. I've watched tons of NFL football over the years, and have also attended high school games, but I'm pretty sure this was the first college game I've watched in its entirety. The game was fun: Army lost by a point, but hung in admirably after getting behind to keep it competitive in spite of being unable to pass the ball. And the West Point campus is quite beautiful, and expansive as well, something we got to experience in detail as we wandered about for a couple of hours after the game trying to find where we had parked.
