The
LinkedIn profile of Tomek Gop has word on what this Polish developer is up to since leaving CD Projekt RED where he served as senior producer on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Word is Gop is now an executive producer at City Interactive, and he also reveals his first project as an unannounced action/RPG: "Unannounced Action-RPG for X360/PS3/PC. More details coming soon. The game doesn't have a name yet, sorry guys! :(" Thanks
GameBanshee, where word is before it was edited, the description of this game previously referred to it as "Project HUMAN."
The
Gods & Heroes Website has news that subscription fees are being dropped for
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, and in the meantime, they are dropping the price on the MMORPG and making unlimited access to all areas free as they work out their free-to-play model (thanks
The RPG Reporter). They also offer reassurances to current customers that their commitment to this point will not go unrewarded: "To all our loyal players, we offer our sincere appreciation and assurance that your commitment and investment will be acknowledged and rewarded through Gods & Heroes’ evolution and relaunch."
A post on
the Korea Times indicates Diablo III is now cleared for sale in South Korea, seemingly at the expense of the real-money auction house that was
holding up the game's approval. A spokesperson for the ratings board says: "The feature involving for-cash trades between users was not included in the presentation to the rating committee, and therefore it was not subjected to any scrutiny." They also add that the game could once again come under scrutiny if cash transactions were enabled by a post-release patch. Thanks

This weekend's NFL games are amazingly promising. I think it's rare for it to be so possible for upsets in all four playoff games. Which means I'm hardly confident at all in these picks: San Francisco and New England.
