gameplay trailer showing off Flatout 3, which

System Shock - The Cutting Room Floor offers a look at the items that never quite made it into the original System Shock, noting Origin's action/RPG "has a wide variety of unused, unfinished, or dummied-out items, textures, and enemies, as well as text, audio logs, and other miscellaneous graphics." Today is the anniversary of the release of the
DOOM shareware, a significant milestone in the history of video games. If you are sitting down and don't have any liquid in your mouth to spit on your monitor, I'll tell you it's the seminal shooter's 18th birthday today, as the release was December 10, 1993.
