"Some of them will get through it in eight hours, some of them will take longer than eight hours. There's a varying level of challenge depending on the skill of the player," designer Zach Wilson told them. Portal 2 Mods for All Platforms

Portal 2 user-created content will be available on all the platforms supported by the upcoming puzzle/platformer sequel, Valve's Chet Faliszek tells NowGamer, though he adds that this content will be created using Windows. "The mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform," Faliszek tells them. "But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it." Also, has word from Faliszek that the game will feature two different end credit sequences, one for single-player and the other for co-op. "Both sets of credits [will feature something special], because we've got two credits," the Valve writer tells them. "So we had to do something twice as amazing." Valve also recently announced Portal 2 will support cross-platform cooperative multiplayer. Thanks VG247.

Third Section 8 Game Plans

TimeGate reveals plans to follow their upcoming Section 8: Prejudice with a third installment in the series that began with Section 8 in September 2009, though they are not sure it will be another first-person shooter the third time around. "We are committed to the franchise: we're already working on the next one, and we're going to make it better and better," TimeGate CEO Adel Chaveleh tells Digital Spy. "As for the next product and how it's evolving and [the] business model and everything else, we don't know whether it's going to be a true sequel again or whether we are going to go off and do a new type of game in the Section 8 universe." He adds: "We're going to continue to watch the marketplace and make decisions based on timing and everything else. We're not rigidly focused on how we bring the product to market." Thanks BeyondUnreal. Section 8: Prejudice is due for release via digital distribution later this quarter.

More Fallout: New Vegas DLC Confirmed

Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks confirms more DLC for Fallout: New Vegas is in the works. "Oh absolutely," Bethesda's VP of PR and marketing tells VG247. "I don’t think we’ve ever had a product where we said, ‘Yeah, we’re just gonna do one DLC pack and that’s all she wrote.’ We like to support our products. We like to do a good job of that, and I don’t think putting out one DLC pack would reach that. I would say you can probably look for other stuff from us down the road." Target platforms are not mentioned, and when asked if presumptions that the Dead Money DLC for Obsidian's action/RPG will eventually be coming to the PC and PlayStation 3 are accurate, he remained elusive: "I think we’ll probably just have to wait and see. I wouldn’t want to say anything more then [sic] that," he tells them. "Right now, it’s exclusive to 360. That’s the only place you can get it. I’m not going to comment on other platforms."
