points to Eurogamer Denmark
where there's a rumor that Bethesda Softworks is currently developing the fifth installment in their Elder Scrolls
series of role-playing games. They have a translation of the report from Eurogamer Denmark editor-in-chief Kristian West, who offers an English version of the report, though this doesn't provide much clarity on their source for the rumor. "This source not only confirmed that the game is in current production, but also spoke briefly about the content - with fantasy-sounding phrases like Dragon Lord, something with The Blades - and that voice acting for the characters in the game is currently happening in the weeks to follow," goes the translation. "The same source confirmed, with official game documents in hand, that this will be the chronological sequel to what happened in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which is the latest game in the now 16-years-old Elder Scrolls saga and by itself one of the better RPGs for PC and consoles."

The Miner Wars Forums
have an effort by Keen Software House to clear up a misconception they've caused about Miner Wars 2081
that has people thinking the game is an MMOG (which probably has something to do with the website logo carrying a caption saying: "6DOF - Fully Destructible Environment - Single Player Story & MMO"). Word is that while Miner Wars 2081 will include multiplayer support, there is also a separate Miner Wars MMOG in the works. Taking responsibility for the confusion, they are now planning on giving a free copy of the MMO version of the game to all who have preordered the non-MMO version so far, and are extending this offer to anyone who preorders between now and December 1. Here's the explanation of how this two-game confusion came about:
If you're unaware of the nature of these things, after I explain why it is this way, you'll understand: The version of the game you are guaranteed by pre-ordering, WILL (will, will, will) come with multi-player mode, but more in the style of Descent with server lists, each based in one sector/level at a time. An MMO, something quiiite different, takes quite a bit of work, even for a professional company, and a LOT more money/resources to keep running, (server costs, developers, paid maintenance, etc.). Remember, we're an independent company, and as such it is a risk we literally cannot afford until we have substantial, reliable income from the first release (what you have pre-ordered). This has been the plan from the very beginning.
A new Operation Flashpoint: Red River trailer

to update Uncle Sam's military shooter/recruiting tool to version 184.108.40.206. Word is: "As we move forward, further enhancements will be made as we continuously improve the America's Army 3 experience." A manual patch can be found on Gamer's Hell
A new patch for Emergency 2012
updates the E.U. editions of this rapid response game to version 1.2, among other things, offering enhancements for lower-end systems. The patches for the retail and digitally distributed editions can be found on the German Emergency 2012 Website
, and they are mirrored on Gamer's Hell

The preparations for Thanksgiving continue here in the BlueTower. Last night I gave the Gunnar-man a haircut in preparation for a bath today (just call me Monsieur Bleu), and at some point I will whip up a batch or two of Chex Mix as well. I just hope all that effort doesn't make MrsBlue feel bad that all she's doing is cleaning the entire house and cooking dinner for 14. I'll try not to lord that over her.
