On StarCraft II in Korea

FIA World Rally Championship Patch

Star Ruler Patches

The Star Ruler Website now offers a new version patch for the space strategy game and a subsequent version hotfix, saying the Steam edition should already be up-to-date, which is reflected by Steam News. The patch is mirrored on The Patches Scrolls, as is the hotfix. Here is the Changelog.

Champions Online Lifetime Subscriptions Return

Champions Online is once again offering lifetime subscriptions, an interesting move since Cryptic's superhero MMORPG is soon going free-to-play. In outlining the perks of this $299.00 lifetime commitment, they say: "When Champions Online goes Free-to-Play, Lifetime Subscribers will receive all the benefits of Gold Members in perpetuity." Star Wars: The Old Republic Update

The Star Wars: The Old Republic Website has a new trailer and update on crew skills in the upcoming Star Wars MMORPG. Word is: "The Crew Skills system allows you to take advantage of everything the galaxy has to offer without getting in the way of your adventure! You’ll assign your crew of companions to gather resources, craft useful and valuable items, and even to undertake their own missions, bringing you and the rest of the crew a variety of benefits and rewards. Crew skills keep you in the action while you take advantage of all the galaxy has to offer."

Hexen: Edge of Chaos Released

The Hexen: Edge of Chaos Website now offers the debut release of the Hexen: Edge of Chaos modification for DOOM 3, offering a modernized take on the original Hexen, Raven's game that used the DOOM engine to create a fantasy-themed action game. The mod is Linux and Windows compatible, and requires DOOM 3 version 1.3.1 to play. The team behind the project have plans for additional content, and are recruiting new participants.
