The Crusader Kings Facebook Page has word that once they have attracted 25,000 fans to the page, they will announce
Crusader Kings 2, seemingly failing to appreciate that on some level this represents such an announcement already, albeit without any details. The
original Crusader Kings is a grand strategy game set during the High Middle Ages that
was released by Paradox Interactive in 2004. As this is being written, the CK Facebook page has 572 fans. Thanks Golwar.
Info sleuths
superannuation reveal a
pair of Trademark registrations by Electronic Arts for
Alice: Madness Returns. It seems a pretty safe assumption that this is the title for the
planned sequel to
American McGee's Alice.
Steam News announces the deal for the penultimate day of their EA week. Today they are offering

The
Electronic Arts Forums have an update from Barrie "Bazajaytee" Tingle on the PC
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 patch that was
first announced in early May and was
delayed earlier this month by a transportation strike in Romania. Now word is there was a problem with SPECACT kits, and these are no longer included in the next patch, which is expected on June 23 unless
Steam approval is delayed, in which case it will be released on the 28th, owing to a Swedish holiday (unless someone's cat eats the patch notes). Thanks Charles. There's also a new
Kits upgrade page on the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Website describing the SPECACT kits that PC owners will not be getting just yet.
An image posted to the Electronic Arts Forums shows the Strike at Karkand map running on a
Battlefield 2142 test server. A subsequent
tweet by OfficialBF2142 confirms that this will be part of the version 1.51 patch for BF2142, which is expected sometime before 2142. Thanks

I was chatting with a fellow customer this morning when buying some food for the dogs, when it struck me that I thought I knew him, and sure enough, it was Mark Goodman, one of the original MTV VJs. It's not like we knew each other back when we were both at MTV, but we shared a couple of laughs over some memories and mutual acquaintances. As James Bond once said, shmall world.
