Just Cause 2 DLC This Week

A post on PS3Trophies.org says the first DLC for Just Cause 2 will be the Chevalier Ice Breaker, described by the site as a "pimped-up Ice Cream Van," to be released on April 7, saying this info was contained in a mail from Microsoft. This is one of the DLC items listed on the SomethingAwful forums (subscription required) that they found in the data files for the PC demo of Avalanche Studios' sandbox action game, and they offer the complete list for your speculation pleasure.

Mount & Blade: Warband Patch

The TaleWorlds Downloads Page offers another new version of Mount & Blade: Warband, updating their recently released action/RPG sequel to version 1.104. As always, the client can serve as a playable trial for the game. The updated client is accompanied by a corresponding new version 1.104 dedicated server, both of which can be found mirrored on The Patches Scrolls. Also, the new update is automatically available from Steam, if that's where you purchased the game. The change list for the new version as well as the intermediate version 1.103 patch follows. Continue here to read the full story.

The Settlers 7 Patch

A new patch is now available for The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom to update the strategy/management sequel to version 1.02. The update is said to fix various stability issues, so it's likely the same patch just released via Steam. The download is linked on the German The Settlers forums and mirrored on The Patches Scrolls.

OpenTTD Version 1.0.0

The OpenTTD Website has version 1.0.0 of this Open Source recreation of Transport Tycoon Deluxe, a project six years in the making, an effort partially undercut by the decision to release on April Fools' Day. Windows and Linux binaries, as well as the game's source code are all available. According to their "about" page, the game "attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features," and true to that, they have a list of included features, some of which are original. Thanks Anthony, who points out the new version eliminates the requirement of any of the graphics or sound assets from the old Transport Tycoon game to function.

New Nations at War

A new version 6.0 of the Nations at War modification for Battlefield 2 is now available. The update offers a vast array of new aircraft and vehicles to the mod. Thanks Ant via Planet Battlefield.
