Mass Effect 2 Trailer

A new video on the YouTube reveals Subject Zero, another of the characters in Mass Effect 2, BioWare's upcoming RPG sequel. Subject Zero, a self-described "all-powerful bitch," has an attitude, a snazzy haircut, and a snappin' gyro from what we can infer from the clip, making her a worthy addition to Shepard's (or anyone's) team. Thanks GameSpot.

New The Old Republic Webcomic

Star Wars: The Old Republic Website has a new virtual issue of Threat of Peace, the webcomic supplying some of the background for Star Wars: The Old Republic, BioWare's upcoming Star Wars MMORPG. The new issue: "sees Braden’s vengeance achieved against the Republic Commander who wounded him on Dantooine. Meanwhile, even as Jedi Grand Master Zym visits the ruins of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to learn more about the attack on the Envoy, a bomb rips through the Senate Tower…"

Star Trek Online Bonus in TOS Blu-Ray Set

TVShowsOnDVD reports one of the bonuses in the upcoming Blu-Ray release of season three of Star Trek: The original Series is a code to unlock an Admiral's uniform in Star Trek Online, Cryptic's upcoming Trekkie MMORPG. The Blu-Ray set is to go on sale on December 15. There's no word on whether the uniform will make your character insane, long known to be the main prerequisite for the higher ranks at Star Fleet Command. Thanks Big Download.

Twin Sector Demo Catch-up

In a bit of catch-up news, we sheepishly point out a Twin Sector demo was released a couple of weeks ago but not reported here at the time. The sample of Headup Games' physics-oriented action post-apocalyptic game is available on AtomicGamer, ComputerGames.ro, eXp Download, and Gamer's Hell. Apologies for the oversight and thanks to Frans for pointing it out.

Out of the Blue

We're having a little visit from my pal MrKawfy and his clan today. On the agenda are cooking out, hanging out, and rocking out, as we may play a little of the Beatles, with Kawfy's two-year old fronting the group. Someone warn Mylie Cyrus to watch out for the new kid on the block.
