Championship Manager 2010 Shipped, Patched

Championship Manager 2010 Website announces that the latest installment in this academy football/soccer simulation is now available "from all good retail stores across Europe as a Special Edition." The announcement also reminds everyone who gets the game to also get the Championship Manager 2010 Free September Update, which is mirrored on The Patches Scrolls.

Majesty 2 Demo Leaked

It seems the demo for Majesty 2 - The Fantasy Kingdom Sim promised for release on Tuesday has leaked onto the internets, as noted in a tweet from Paradox Interactive that says "Hope people enjoy it :)." If that makes it seem as if they are not too upset about the leak, a subsequent tweet goes further, saying: "Pls post your thoughts on the Majesty 2 demo." Another tweet from a few hours ago sets the stage for the demo's official release, saying "…not much this week except Majesty 2. However it will be lots of M2 :)."

New BF2 PoE2 Server

The Point of Existence Website announces the release of a new patch for those running servers using the Point of Existence 2 modification for Battlefield 2. The recent Battlefield 2 patch was causing PoE2 servers to crash, and this server-only patch should address that. Likewise, a new server-only patch for the Allied Intent Xtended modification is also available to address problems with the mod's online conquest and co-op game modes since the version 1.50 patch for BF2. Thanks Planet Battlefield via Ant.

Out of the Blue

It's opening day for my beloved Giants and for most of the NFL today. Embarrassing true confession: We picked up Giants jerseys for the dogs yesterday so we could root together (the Gunnar-man actually usually "watches" the games with me). The trouble is, these were way too small, even though they are size L (presumably because it's usually smaller dogs that get dressed up), so we'll have to return them. Maybe we can find XL versions, or jerseys made for small kids, as we thought these would double nicely as their Halloween outfits as well. Anyway, haberdashery aside, go big blue!
