Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood DLC Plans

VG247 has a translation from a Polish-language article reporting on a Techland press event revealing three planned DLC packs for Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the just-released western shooter prequel. Exact details like release dates and price points were not revealed, but word is the first two DLC packs will include new multiplayer maps, and the third will enhance the single-player game.

HL2 NEOTOKYO°

The NEOTOKYO° Website now offers the release of the NEOTOKYO° modification for Half-Life 2 (yes, that little ° seems intentional, and no, we don't know what it means). The page currently in lockdown mode to deal with the influx of traffic, but they have a list of several download mirrors to distribute the demand. Here's the mod's description from Mod DB: "NEOTOKYO° takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's [sic] mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai." Thanks Hump.

Out of the Blue

Well, Independence Day wasn't so bad for Hudson the wonder dog, as the fireworks seemed somewhat subdued, which is the opposite of what I expected given the Fourth of July falling on a Saturday (not to mention a month of rain preceding the fourth to wash out advance explosive activities). Meanwhile, MrsBlue and I enjoyed the celebrations virtually, as we tuned in some fireworks on TV, which were pretty impressive in HD. Boom!
