Saboteur release date
sabotaged on GameSpot has word that another revelation from EA's
end-of-quarter financial reporting is a delay to Saboteur. Pandemic's
World War II stealth/action game was announced for release this year, but now
the game has been pushed back to EA's fiscal 2010, which runs from April 1, 2009
to March 31, 2010. No reason was given for the delay. Thanks Mike Martinez.
The introductory movie from Left 4 Dead is now online for your
scarification. The clip is the cinematic that sets the story for Valve's
upcoming multiplayer zombie shooter, though it should be considered a spoiler
for anyone who thought the humans in the game would end up making friends with
the zombies. The clip is available translated into five different languages on
Steam News, and downloads
of the English version can also be found on
ActionTrip,
Gamer's Hell, and
MyGameTrailers.
A new trailer from Quantum of Solace again showcases Dame Judi Dench in

Another new Tomb Raider Underworld movie shows more of Lara Croft
Thai-ing one on in Thailand. Thick jungles? Check. Moss-covered idols? Check.

déjà vu all over again. You can find the trailer on
AtomicGamer,
FileFront, and Gamer's
Hell.

Okay, due to popular demand, or at least some demand, here is this years
installment of 'I am a dork, and this is my homepage,' aka
photos of the doggies dressed in their Halloween finery. The plan was for
Hudson the wonder dog to be biker and for Gunnar-man to be a police officer, but
Gunnar's costume didn't fit very well, so we fell back on his Elvis costume from
a couple of years ago. This year's photo gallery has a shot of each of them
individually, and a few trick-or-treater eye-views of them peering through the
door looking for kiddies, including one showing off the spooky glowing eye
effect that so suits the occasion. This year's response to their dressing up was
probably the best we've ever had, with them giving and receiving endless kisses
from youngsters and adults alike, and even a few folks insisting on getting
their pictures taken with the dogs. Every day is a great day for Gunnar, but
there's no question that Halloween is the best day of the year for Hudson.
