A post on the
EGOSOFT Forums indicate a further setback to the release of
X3: Terran
Conflict, albeit another small one. The space combat sequel was recently
delayed a week to October 10 (
story), and now word is the game
has been delayed another week: "Unfortunately we have to report that the release
of X3: Terran Conflict will be delayed by another week. A broken machine for the
production of the game manuals forced our publisher to move the release date to
October 17th, 2008." Thanks Creston.
Alan Wake Comes Out of
Hiding on 1Up is a Q&A with Sam Lake about Alan Wake, the psychological
action game in the works at Remedy Entertainment. Nothing particularly new is
revealed, and his comment about plans for a new Alan Wake trailer
(
story) references their silence on the topic, though it seems
they've been keeping things close to the vest for so long, Sam doesn't know it
hasn't been released yet: "We have been silent for a long while, concentrating
on developing the game, and it felt good to remind everyone what Alan Wake is
all about." There's also a translated
Pelaaja interview with Sam Lake
on BrightFalls.net.
Sometimes you fix something, and something else breaks. While implementing some
of the improvements around here, somewhere along the way we broke the RSS feed.
It is now fixed, apologies for that. Thanks Ryan for bringing the problem to
our attention, and to Frans for fixing it.
