Total Extreme Wrestling 2008 is now available, so those interested in getting a
hammer lock on Grey Dog Software's sports management sequel can head over to the
Grey Dog Software Website.
There is also an updated version of the time-limited demo for the game, though
it's not apparent what is different from the previous demo. There is also a
small patch to update the previous version of the demo. Here's word on the
release:
Phoenix, AZ June 7, 2008 – Grey Dog Software, a Phoenix based
developer of sports management simulation software for personal computers, today
announces the release of Total Extreme Wrestling 2008.
Total Extreme Wrestling 2008 allows players to take on the role of a wrestling
promoter, where it is up to you to try and steer your chosen company to the top
of the industry, along the way dealing with prima donna superstars, wars and
alliances with other wrestling companies, and the demands of TV
corporations!
The
Petroglyph Forums have word that the patch to allow owners of the PC and
Xbox 360 editions of Universe at War to play against each other in Ranked,
Quickmatch, and Conquer the World modes. The new version also implements a
number of other changes in each edition of the game, all outlined in the patch
notes. Logging into the game using either version should initiate the update,
but a manual edition of the PC patch can also be found on
The Patches Scrolls.
The Eternal Silence Website now
offers the release of beta version 3.0 of this Half-Life 2 modification. They
have a lot to say about the release, if you count that old saying about a
picture being worth a thousand words, but a number of past updates outline what
to expect from the new version.
I'd already been warned by trusted sources, but finally seeing Spider-Man 3 last
night disappointed me nonetheless. There were too many things wrong to count,
and a lot of stuff that had the potential to be better, but still didn't come
out right. The whole thing was basically a giant mess: A huge surprise from a
director who seemed to "get it" so well. Hopefully if Sam does return for a
fourth go 'round he'll get back on track.
R.I.P.:
'Wonderful Life' actor Bob Anderson dies.
