Pirates of the Burning Sea Preorder Details

Arr! This press release has details on what preordering Pirates of the Burning Sea will offer those who take the early plunge on Burning Lab Software's upcoming MMORPG, though preorders will not commence until October 23 in North America (a European preorder date has not been set yet). Those who preorder will receive the following:
• An invitation to the “Pre-Boarding Party” allowing them access to the live game up to 15 days prior to launch, and the ability to keep their characters, skills and equipment after launch with purchase of game and paid subscription (characters will have a level cap of 20 during the pre-boarding party)

• Captain’s Best Friend – a blue and yellow parrot

• Mighty Blades - Swedish Rapier, Old World Steel or Musketeer’s Matching Blades (depending upon which fighting style is selected) • Original Game Soundtrack CD – 60 minutes of pirate themed music (comes in pre-order box)

European Street Racing Demo

A demo for European Street Racing is now available, following on news that the racing game will be released on Friday (story). The 171 MB download can be found on 3D Downloads, ComputerGames.ro, FanGaming, FileFront, Gamer's Hell, and PixelRage.

Loki Patch & Tourney Plans

The Loki Website announces plans for an upcoming version 1.0.7.0 update for Cyanide Studios' action RPG that will lay the groundwork for a tournament offering unique items as prizes (thanks The Patches Scrolls). Here's a bit:
GameCenter Warriors, we are pleased to announce that a bunch of new features are on their way for the LOKI multiplayer mode.

As requested by many players, a chest system will be released this week on the GameCenter. This system will allow players to store items, above and beyond the limit of a hero's personal inventory, and to transfer items between their heroes!!

Very soon, a new patch with many improvements for the multiplayer mode will be available. This 1.0.7.0 patch, planned for the end of September will also see the start of an massive worldwide multiplayer tournament, « LOKI Battle Round #1 ». At the end of the competition, the best warriors will be rewarded with "Divine" level inventory items. The 2 best players on each ladder (level and duel) will, in addition, receive a Unique Item that can only be gained via this tournament.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Patch

Another homebrew patch for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is now available, bringing unofficial support for the action/RPG from late developer Troika to version 4.2. A number of bug fixes and tweaks are included in the update, which is hosted on The Patches Scrolls, where they offer a full version of the patch notes. The download is mirrored on 3D Downloads, FileFront, and Gamer's Hell.

Tarr Chronicles Demo

A playable demo for Tarr Chronicles is now available, allowing the opportunity to sample Kvazar Studio's imminent space combat game. The demo is a 481 MB download, which is available on 3D Downloads, ComputerGames.ro, FileFront, FileShack, and Gamer's Hell.

Ships Ahoy - World in Conflict

This press release announces that World in Conflict is now available in North American stores (thanks Overon). Here's word on Massive Entertainment's new real-time strategy game:
