In order to avoid any misunderstandings concerning the name "Vampire Story" - since there is another computer game from a different company titled "A Vampyre Story" - we have decided to change the name of the project to "Vampire World" thus easing this situation for our business partners and customers.
The Vampire World project is almost completed and Mayhem Studios signed a distribution contract with Game Factory Interactive, LTD covering the Russian mutation of the game. Negotiations with other publishers are taking place and the publishers for individual territories will be known in the first quarter of 2007.
The game will be released world-wide in summer 2007.

MONTREAL, March 8, 2007. – Software publisher Strategy First Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSTR), has partnered with Los Angeles-based video game and film production company, Union Entertainment, to adapt Strategy First’s hit video game franchise “Jagged Alliance” into a feature film. Union and Strategy First have signed on Nick Nunziata (Grizzly Park, Meg) to help develop and co-produce the project.
The original “Jagged Alliance” game was released in 1994 and has spawned five sequels, with another currently under development at Strategy First.
The project’s title, “Jagged Alliance”, describes the cutthroat relationships between members of a lethal mercenary team whose only true allegiance is to the highest bidder. Each a specialist in his or her own discipline, these operatives know that in order to survive their missions, they must rely on, but never dare trust, each other. The team is assembled from the best of the best by the Alliance of International Mercenaries, an apolitical private organization with its own covert agenda.
“‘Jagged Alliance’ is high on character and action, but with a dark humor that fans relish,” says Union President Richard Leibowitz. “‘Jagged Alliance’ has a solid premise, and its character-driven game story makes it much better suited to film adaptation than many other game properties. Those elements are key to successful game-to-film translations.”
“Jagged Alliance is a great game franchise with dynamic characters and personalities that belong on the silver screen. This project is a brilliant take on the property and we anticipate a truly original picture coming out of this series.” says Emanuel Wall, Strategy First’s Business Development Manager.
New York, USA (March 8, 2007) – Paradox Interactive, a leading publisher and developer of critically acclaimed strategy titles, announced today that their next strategy release, Frontline: Fields of Thunder, has gone gold.
Frontline: Fields of Thunder, developed by Nival Interactive, follows in the footsteps of the original "Blitzkrieg" and depicts the largest tank battle in history in what is commonly referred to as the Clash of the Titans.
Players will find it offers a gameplay experience on a strategic level as well as a tactical level. The superbly detailed battle map gives players both immense scope and historical accuracy. In addition, the historical settings and scenarios are completely accurate, so much in fact that it felt necessary to add an encyclopaedia to the game as an aid to players.
The title is releasing on March 16 in Germany and Scandinavia, March 20 in North America, March 30 in France and April 6 in the UK. Frontline: Fields of Thunder has a SRP of $29.99/€29.99 and has been rated Teen by ESRB and 12+ by PEGI.
And lastly, I do want to say that a lot of your critiques about the demo are things we are seriously listening to, and while its still extremely early, we fully respect some of the more popular concerns. Moving the radar back to the command post however is not something we would likely do. Thats a massive game change and we wouldn't make such a change right now only from the demo. With regards to alternate mouse setup, yes for the millionth time we're strongly considering it for the first patch, i'll keep you posted. Walls... walls are not 100% lost in C&C 3 but we've explained and will explain further in the next podcast why they are not there. That said, its not something we couldn't add back in through a patch, but we need to see lots of gameplay first before enacting such a move. So, just lettig you know, its not technically impossible, but for right now, it would not be wise until there was TONS and TONS of more gameplay.
