- Reservoir Dogs
The
Reservoir Dogs Q&A on Computer and Video Games lends an ear to Dave
Manuel as he sounds off about the upcoming game based on Quentin Tarantino's
modern classic crime flick: "Famously, a large part of the film takes place
in a warehouse following the events of the heist. This is clearly not a
viable setting for a game, although the warehouse does provide the setting
for most of the re-created 'classic scenes' that feature throughout the
game. For the game, we have primarily focused on the events that take place
immediately after the heist from each character's perspective: The fate of
Mr Blue; Blonde's kidnap of Marvin; Pink's retrieval of the diamonds; White
escorting Orange back to the warehouse; Brown's getaway from the Heist; and
what Nice Guy Eddie got up to when Blonde was so chillingly left alone with
Marvin."
- Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising
The
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising Q&A on GodsAndHeroes.de
is the English version of a conversation (also available
in German) about Perpetual Entertainment's MMORPG: "Yes, PVP will be a
very fun aspect of Gods & Heroes. At launch we will have Player Vs. Player
duels and arena battles. Post launch we are planning on implementing Party
Vs. Party, Tribe Vs. Tribe and for future expansions Nation Vs. Nation
battles. As it stands, however, we are trying to get as many of these
features in for launch as possible!"
- Battle Lord
Tacticular
Cancer's Battle Lord Q&A discusses Katauri Interactive's upcoming adventure game: "There
are many fantasy games of different genres. HoMM, Age of Wonders or
Disciples is a genre different from our game. Gothic or Oblivion are pure
RPGs and again they are different. Spellforce and Heroes of Annihilated
Empires can be also considered as fantasy games, but RTS. Battle Lord has a
different setting. An adventure in real time, something similar to Diablo,
and tactical combat with action points and special attacks similar to Age of
Wonders. And of course everything happens in a fantasy world J."

Razor. Word is: "Conquer one of the deepest and most challenging dungeons in all
of Cyrodiil to claim this fearsome weapon."

- Sam & Max
Telltale
Games Talk Sam & Max on GameSetWatch is a Q&A with Dan Connors of
Telltale Games about the upcoming return of Sam & Max: "For one thing, we're
building a company, not a product. When you build a company you need to
think about emerging opportunities. There have been many examples of
developers not being able to make it because they didn’t control their own
destinies. In order to be great Telltale needs to innovate. Being a leader
in episodic game production and distribution creates more opportunities for
us."
- Vanguard
The
Sigil Q&A on Ten Ton Hammer talks with April Jones of Sigil Online
Entertainment about Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, their upcoming MMORPG: "I
don’t like to speak for SOE, but I would imagine that they saw a good
opportunity with an experienced team and a game that is nearing launch and
sought to capitalize on it. They’re not looking to tamper with a good thing
any more than we are looking to dictate how they run their servers. As I
said above, we are both interested in taking advantage of each others’
strengths. And while Brad has done everything he can to reassure folks that
what he’s saying is true, at this point, if people are still skeptical I
would humbly ask them to wait until launch and see what they think – I think
they’ll be pleased."
- Mindfire Entertainment
The
Mindfire Entertainment Q&A on FiringSquad talks with Mark A. Altman of
Mindfire Entertainment about their collaboration with Ray Harryhausen: "I
think it's imperative. The films are first and foremost so the video games
will only happen if we can partner with the right people who have a vision
for how to adapt Ray's work to that medium. That said, there are some
incredibly exciting opportunities to adapt these stories for video games. I
mean who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to fight some of the
creatures Ray created for the movies or save the girls in many of his
films."

The new

is an audio interview with Ivan Sulic and Pat Harris of Flagship Studios
about their upcoming first-person shooter.
Sight seen dropping MrsBlue at the station: There's a dry cleaners right there in the station
parking lot for the convenience of harried commuters. There's a car
double-parked in front, and everyone was forced to
drive around it. This is because a guy was standing there next to his car (with
his wife dutifully waiting at the wheel) buttoning up his shirt. I guess we just missed the
scene of him changing there in the parking lot.
