Battlefield 2 Q&A

There's a Battlefield 2 Q&A on the Battlefield SinglePlayer Website (thanks Total Battlefield 2) talking with EA's Ben Smith about the upcoming military shooter sequel, keeping to their chosen focus of single-player action, though multiplayer is also touched upon: "This is correct, we will not be shipping with coop support in Battlefield 2. Since single-player in Battlefield 2 is focused on training players for full multiplayer matches (a gateway to multiplayer) we chose to focus on each of the modes separately and eliminate coop. There are no plans at this time to add coop support in a patch."

Also, a teaser site is online for The Guild 2 (thanks Frans), with screenshots and the E3 trailer for this upcoming medieval RPG sequel.

Game Movies

There is some footage from a press preview of Battlefield 2 on Total Battlefield 2, just released after being embargoed for a couple of months following their visit to EA. Total Battlefield 2 is also offering downloads of some more footage from the upcoming shooter sequel from a brief Dutch television report on the game. Finally, there is a 20 second ShakyCam clip from the game at E3 on Gamebiz as a 5 MB download. Also, the Conflict: Global Terror E3 movie is online, and can be found on 3D Gamers, and Worthplaying. Likewise, the Battlestations: Midway E3 movie is available on 3D Gamers, and Worthplaying. Finally, the Downloads Page on the framed Wolfschanze 1944 official website now offers the E3 trailer for Wolfschanze 1944, Calaris' alternate-history World War II game. Domination German Patch

The DreamCatcher Europe Support Website (thanks Frans) now offers downloads of a patch for the German edition of Domination, updating the Teutonic edition of Wargaming.Net's Massive Assault follow-up to version 2.0.136. Out of the Blue

We have brunch plans in a bit with our step-aunt and step-grandma... with all the obvious downsides to being from what was once quaintly called a "broken home," when such breaks are repaired through remarriage, an upside is the extended family (provided, of course, it turns out you all love each other like we do). We'll pass the local icon that is Stew Leonard's on the way back, and since the weather is so much nicer today, we may stop in and pick up some fixings for a cookout at the super-duper-market.
