Ships Ahoy - The Incredibles

THQ Ships The Incredibles Videogames on Experience Gaming (thanks Mike Martinez) announces the availability of the PC, Xbox, PS2, GameCube, and GBA tie-in with the new hit movie from Pixar Animation Studios, as well as another more youth-oriented title: "'The Incredibles: When Danger Calls,' an additional PC/Mac title targeting the younger demographic featuring an assortment of mini-games has also shipped. 'The Incredibles' is now beginning to ship to retail outlets worldwide."

SÖLDNER Beta Patch

The Official SÖLDNER: Secret Wars Website now offers downloads of a new beta patch to update Wings Simulations first-person shooter to version 30770. The change list has details on what's new in the update, which carries this warning: "The beta update includes all previous changes. You only need to install beta patch v30770. If you have any kind of mods installed, please remove them before installing the update otherwise Soldner's Anti Cheat Tool WACHE will take actions." Additionally, there is an accompanying updated dedicated server.

ATI PunkBuster Fix

Games hang using PunkBuster Online Gaming Servers (thanks Devicer) is an ATI support page offering downloads of a new CATALYST 4.12 Beta Release to address an issue with the recent version 4.11 CATALYST drivers that can cause the client end of certain online games to hang up due to a conflict with Even Balance's PunkBuster support.

Half-Life Shores of Victory

Public beta version 1.01 of the Shores of Victory modification for Half-Life is now available. The debut of this World War II Pacific Theater conversion was immediately followed by a patch, so clients will not be able to connect to servers until they each upgrade. Thanks OzForces.

Out of the Blue

Xbox can't read! Well, it's sort of a relief to read this, as at least I know I am not alone with this problem. Until reading this site I assumed it was because I tend to let the thing sit for extended period between uses, but it's sort of comforting to see it's a known issue... in that misery loves company sort of a way.
