SW: Republic Commandos Delayed

The LucasArts Star Wars Commandos Product Page has an update reflecting a delay in the upcoming cross-platform Star Wars shooter. The "Availability" heading on the page that previously listed a Fall 2004 now offers "Winter" as the game's release date. As a consolation, the site also now offers a new screenshot. In other Star Wars release date news, the Star Wars KOTOR II - The Sith Lords Product Page likewise reflects a modified release date, as it also now lists a generalized "Winter" availability, replacing the previous more specific listing that read February 2005. The page now also offers screenshots of the newly unveiled planet Dxun from the upcoming RPG sequel. Thanks Frans.

Gold - Uru: The Path of the Shell

Myst Worlds reports that The Path of the Shell, the expansion for Uru: Ages beyond Myst, is now gold, finding the news in The Grey Dragon's Blog. No release information is included in this informal announcement. Thanks Frans.

Thanks The Patches Scrolls.

Strength & Honour Demo Patch

Out of the Blue

I was checking to make sure TiVO was set to catch the Deadwood season finale tonight (it still hasn't sunk in The Sopranos is over for the season), and with a quick pop, the audio went. Some checking seems to isolate the problem to my receiver, so I need to check and see if hopefully this may just be a blown fuse. I have fears that it goes beyond that, as there was a distinctive smell following this that seems very familiar as fried circuitry, so it may be a goner.
