Get out your mouse ears: "Disney's Toontown Online throws open its gates to UK gamers today and invites them to head to www.disney.co.uk/toontown and help in the struggle to save Toontown, which is under siege from a band of uptight business robots called the Cogs. Toontown is the world's first 3D massively multiplayer online PC game (MMOG) designed especially for children and their families. And, from today, they can go online to enjoy a quite unique gaming experience."

New Firearms Half-Life

A new version 2.9 of the Firearms Half-Life Modification is now available. Here's the deal on the new release: "We've got the usual bug fixes, all sorts of updated content, effects, and optimisations, as well as three new maps and two new weapons. Hopefully you'll enjoy playing this release as much as we've enjoyed working on it. This version should run on both Steam and non-Steam versions of Half-Life with no additional files, but since it has only been extensively tested on Steam we will not be offering support for people running it with the old versions of Half-life."

Out of the Blue

Another battle in my war with my coffee accoutrements took place today... My cheapo coffee grinder ceased working this morning, as it became impossible to get the little plastic tab in the lid to depress its corresponding switch that ensures the grinder can't be operated in an open position. I imagine there are a couple of folks with the nickname 'lefty' from the days before these things were so equipped, but it sure was frustrating knowing the grinder is actually still operational, but refusing to grind because my fingers may have been in the way.

And then there's last night's Sopranos... All I can (or at least should) say is wow!
