Out of the Blue

Happy Leap Day! Since today is a day that doesn't exist in a typical year, I think it's only appropriate to do something you normally don't get to do today... and perhaps in that light I will watch this year's Oscar™©® telecast. Though I managed to get out to the movies a couple of time this year, in keeping with a grand tradition, I have not yet managed to see any of this year's nominated films. This might necessitate switching away for Curb Your Enthusiasm (though this can also be caught in in one of its myriad repeats), but there's no conflict on Fox, where they are choosing not to sacrifice new episodes of Malcolm or Arrested Development to the Oscar©®™ juggernaut, instead airing Star Wars: Episode One, apparently hoping to appeal to fans of non-award winning movies.
