The Lightcubed FTP Directory now offers downloads of the new beta 3 of version 1.45 of the dedicated Linux server for Battlefield 1942 addressing a couple of bugs. Site Seeing

The official website for The Movies (thanks GameSpyDaily) has premiered, dedicated to Lionhead's upcoming celluloid simulator. Also newly launched is the Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Website with THQ's Flash-only portal for the upcoming adventure game sequel that occasionally carries a "3" in its title, and not to cause confusion (we don't cook it, we just serve it), this new Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Website offers an equally official, equally Flash restricted site for the game courtesy of Dreamcatcher, its other publisher. Finally, a Desert Rats vs Afrika Korps product page is online for Digital Reality's just-announced tactical WW2 game. Thanks Frans.

Out of the Blue

We're off to Pennsylvania today to attend the funeral of my grandmother, which is this afternoon. In an unfortunate (and I am thinking unusual, but I'm unsure of that) bit of scheduling, the burial is planned for late morning tomorrow. Since MrsBlue's schedule will not permit us to stay over, I am considering making the trip again tomorrow for the follow-up, but I am still up in the air about that.
