ECTS Trailers and More

A few new gameplay trailers were released at ECTS, there's a Shade: Wrath of Angels movie on 3D Gamers, FileFront, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying, a UFO Aftermath movie on 3D Gamers, FileFront, Gamer's Hell, Tiscali Games (thanks UFOAftermath.co.uk), and Worthplaying, and a Korea Forgotten Conflict movie on 3D Gamers, FileFront, Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying. Also Fragland has posted a Far Cry Preview, a Gangland Preview, as well as their recap of the show.

A post to the Lock On Modern Air Combat General Discussion Forum (thanks Frans and SimHQ) by Matt "Wags" Wagner, Ubi Soft's producer on the upcoming jet combat game, offers another response to the distress many have expressed over the decision to delay the release of the game's now-complete demo (story). He outlines the various considerations that factored into this decision, saying the demo delay "was done for the ultimate good of the product."

New BF1942 Pirates

A new alpha version 0.21 of the Pirates modification for Battlefield 1942 is now available (thanks Ant). The update of the seafaring conversion includes a bunch of new features, tweaks, and fixes, along with the changes required to be compatible with the new BF1942 version 1.45.
