Project Three Interactive
has released a new version 1.3 of New World Order as a patch to update version
1.0 or a patch for version 1.2. The new version offers several significant
improvements in memory usage, world rendering, framerates, and more. Thanks Worthplaying,

Vivendi games unit has talked to suitors-sources
(thanks Worthplaying)
reports rumors that: "Vivendi Universal has held talks with at least three
potential suitors to sell its video game arm but no deal is believed to be near,
according to banking sources familiar with the situation." The story goes
on to say that any decision on this is unlikely until a decision about the
future of the entire company is made, and quotes the expected 'no comments' from
potential suitors.

II Developer Diary Volume I on GameSpy is written by Nival Interactive's
Oleg Belaychook, who describes what went on behind-the-scenes during the
decision-making process to create their upcoming RTS sequel. Also, the Lionheart Designer Diary
Volume II on GameSpot is written by Black Isle Studios' Doug Avery, who
discusses his own gaming resume before describing the current state of
development on Reflexive's upcoming RPG, which includes reworking the magic
system, replacing placeholder sounds, and plans to gear up for some testing.
Finally, RPG Vault's Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Diary #4
is written by BioWare senior designer Drew Karpyshyn, who introduces us to the
skills in the upcoming Star Wars RPG, describing their importance in the
character creation process, along with some details about how these skills will
be put to use in the game.
The Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon Unofficial
Website now offers downloads of a movie showing off gameplay from their
upcoming namesake adventure game sequel. The 53 MB file offers about two minutes
of game footage, and is mirrored on Gamer's
Hell. Also, the
intro movie for Blitzkrieg (thanks Gamer's
Hell) is now available in RealPlayer format, offering "some great mixing
between historical and rendered imagery" from Nival Interactive's upcoming
RTS game.
There's a Savage Preview
on PC.IGN.Com looking ahead at S2 Games' upcoming MMO FPS/RTS game. The
article describes the game's post-apocalyptic setting, the unusually smooth
blend of action and strategy elements, building structures, units, the difference

on GameSpot based on getting to check out a new preview build of GSC Game
World's upcoming historical RTS game. They describe the 12 different nations
represented, buildings and units, the huge maps, the incredible numbers of units
