A new patch is now available for TRIBES 2 (thanks HomeLan Fed)
updating Sierra's sci-fi shooter sequel to version 25034. The file is available
from FilePlanet
(registration required) and TribalWar.com, where they have
word that this will not be eligible for tech support until it is available via
the auto updater, as well as a list of what's new (primarily bug fixes).
A post on PlanetUnreal has
the skinny on what will be in the upcoming Unreal Tournament 2003 patch (thanks Shacknews).
The large list is courtesy of Epic's Steve Polge, and lists changes to gameplay,
HUD/menus, AI, networking, mod support, engine, API support, and audio.

Combines Intense PC Action with RPG Gameplay is the press release with word
that this angelic third-person action/adventure is winging its way into stores.
Here is a bit from the release: "The player is thrust into the center of
the action as they guide Travinsky through three violent epochs: Medieval,
Futuristic and The Forgotten Place. Throughout these epochs, Travinsky must hunt
and destroy the evil demons, who are dead set on wiping out the human race
forever. Even with a huge arsenal of close combat, mid- and long-range weapons
at his disposal, Travinsky has only a small chance of achieving his goal, as
many of the Chosen Ones have gone before him and all have died in past
encounters with the powerful and numerous foes. Gamers must therefore use the

in the release, but it does offer a nice complete overview of what to expect
from the project.

committed to spend $2 billion on the Xbox project over the next five years."

Q&A chats with the comic book developers who have formed the
"Man of Action" team about plans for Atom X, an upcoming superhero
game to be developed by Warthog. They discuss some details about the game,
but as of now there is no determination about what platforms the project is
targeting...
Well my grout cleaning went pretty well, the gray grout came out white, the
brown grout came out white, unfortunately the crumbly grout around the edge
tiles on the counter-top just plain came out, so my grout removal project has
spawned an tile re-grouting project. Ain't it always the way. Today's link of
the day is one I've been saving for a couple of weeks until it was appropriate
to post... it's a listing of when this evening's meteor showers will reach peak
intensities for various different areas. Unfortunately, unless the weather
around these parts changes, the only thing skywatchers around here will get is
an eyeful of rain, but there's still time for this to clear up.
