The Natural Selection Website
now offers a new version 1.02 of the dedicated server for this Half-Life
modification. The patch, which is only required for those running servers,
offers all the changes in the 1.01 server as well as several tweaks, fixes, and
enhancements. Servers that apply the patch should see around a 50% performance
improvement, resulting in lower client ping times.

has speculation that tomorrow's announcement of NVIDIA's NV30 chipset will
reveal it to be branded GeforceFX,

Morrowind @ GameBanshee

Signups Page is now accepting registration for what is planned as their
final Quake II league. There are no ping restrictions to participate.
I now realize why case modding is such the craze these days. It's not nearly as
much about the joys of a modded case as it is about an excuse to use a dremel! I
have even read reports of dog owners using the dremel on their pets' nails... a
clear example of the miracle tool's insanely addictive draw, as this has got to
be a simpler process when using a traditional nail clipper (not to mention less
traumatic for the pet... it's pretty obvious why cat owners don't try this one).
I think I may just follow the example of JM from our forums and hammer a hundred
nails into a board, just to dremel them... hopefully getting a bit of my
grinding lust out of my system.
