New Natural Selection Server

The Natural Selection Website now offers a new version 1.02 of the dedicated server for this Half-Life modification. The patch, which is only required for those running servers, offers all the changes in the 1.01 server as well as several tweaks, fixes, and enhancements. Servers that apply the patch should see around a 50% performance improvement, resulting in lower client ping times.

Out of the Blue

I now realize why case modding is such the craze these days. It's not nearly as much about the joys of a modded case as it is about an excuse to use a dremel! I have even read reports of dog owners using the dremel on their pets' nails... a clear example of the miracle tool's insanely addictive draw, as this has got to be a simpler process when using a traditional nail clipper (not to mention less traumatic for the pet... it's pretty obvious why cat owners don't try this one). I think I may just follow the example of JM from our forums and hammer a hundred nails into a board, just to dremel them... hopefully getting a bit of my grinding lust out of my system.

Link of the Day: Cinnamon Challenge 2001. Thanks Joe Meadows. I'm thinking you shouldn't try this one at home.
