MrsBlue and I are off to attend a wedding today. This is one of her cousins, who
happens to be in our area, but since most of her family is not local to here, it
turns out there will likely be no other attendees I've met before. In fact, I
don't think that she will be familiar with more than a couple of the people
there, so I'll need to dust off my questionable small talk skills today. I'm
contemplating making up a new story to tell every person I chat with... careers
that have popped to mind: pilot of a tug-sub, tree surgeon, shoelace threader,
Microsoft security expert... the beauty of any of those choices, of course,
being that they would all require less explanation than the truth. Maybe I'll
just make up a science to be an expert in... like Renestantanology, or
Bolographicography. Can you tell I'm having fun with this?
